Kasumigaseki CampusTeikyo University Unveils Intellectual Odyssey: Dive into the World of Teikyo Sensho and Teikyo Shinsho

In a milestone event at the Kasumigaseki Campus on Friday, December 22, 2023, Teikyo University marked a significant stride in academic engagement with the establishment of Teikyo University Press. This initiative, a collaborative effort involving 19 esteemed professors affiliated with the Teikyo University Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization, sets out to bridge the realms of general and specialized education.

At the heart of Teikyo University Press's debut is the co-authored first edition, a comprehensive guide authored by leading professors. This inaugural volume serves as a thoughtful beacon, facilitating a deeper understanding of a wide array of subjects. The press positions itself as a conduit between general education and specialized knowledge, inviting readers to embark on a journey of intellectual exploration.

Simultaneously, the university launched "Selected Books" and "Teikyo Shinsho," featuring enlightening general education works crafted by the university's faculty members. These volumes not only provide readers with thought-provoking insights but also contribute to returning the achievements of Teikyo University to society.
During the press conference, the authors of the books, alongside Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga, took center stage to articulate the purpose, objectives, and policies underpinning the establishment of Teikyo University Press. The presentation offered a glimpse into the distinctive features and allure of each publication, emphasizing the commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity.
Teikyo University Press is poised to expand its footprint by planning future releases, including new books, selected editions, and textbook launches. The five newly published books are now available for purchase at bookstores nationwide and online.
