Utsunomiya CampusRegional Economics Seminar Sparks Intellectual Dialogue and Discovery

In a vibrant celebration of academic curiosity and collaboration, the 7th joint seminar presentation of the Faculty of Economics, Department of Regional Economics, unfolded at Teikyo University's Utsunomiya Campus. This event, curated by dedicated student staff, aimed to foster inspiration among 2nd and 3rd-year seminar students engaged in diverse daily research endeavors.

Ten seminars engaged in the presentation category, where representatives delved into an array of themes. The ensuing dynamic question-and-answer session with faculty and fellow students illuminated the depth of exploration within the department. Notably, the poster presentation category, now in its second year, saw the participation of four seminars. The presentations showcased not only research outcomes but also the evolving landscape of presentation techniques, incorporating quizzes and innovative three-dimensional creations. The atmosphere crackled with excitement as the seminar room buzzed with ideas and intellectual exchange. A deviation from the virtual norm of the past four years, this face-to-face presentation marked a triumphant return to in-person academic engagement post the pandemic. Despite evident nerves in some students presenting in the expansive classroom, the event concluded on a high note. A collective commemorative photo captured the shared achievement, emphasizing the joy and camaraderie that defined the day. Gratitude permeated the room as participants expressed appreciation for the collective efforts that made the event a success. This seminar not only showcased the academic prowess of Teikyo University's budding economists but also underscored the resilience and adaptability of the student community in the face of challenging times.
